ESS (Energy Storage System) can be divided into off-grid and on-grid type. Connected to power system (Grid), on-grid type stores surplus power or dispersed generation, and improves efficiency of energy by supplying stored power when needed. Off-grid type is effective for isolated island or a place where electrical power systems are unstable, and can generate power by itself.
태양광에 에너지저장장치(Energy Storage System, ESS)를 연계하여 전력시장에 판매할 경우 ESS를 통해서 송전된 전력은 가중치 5.0을 부여한다.
(단, ESS를 통한 가중치를 인정받는 시간(방전시간) = 10~16시, 그 외시간은 충전.)
